A narrative relating to the difficulties and perils attendant on the exploration of the Inland Ice of Greenland. Blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine and gilt borders, lower front board and spine have polar bears decoration, blue title to top of front board. 12 x b/w illustrations. vi plus 218 pages Boards are grubby, damp mottled across the lower part, gilt title and cloth spine faded. Corners of boards bumped and worn. Front endpaper missing. Light browning to contents. All illustrations present.
