Brown decorative cloth. 32 colour plates plus 64 b/w photos. Large folding colour map to rear. A and C Black Colour Book, 20 Shilling series. This book is the first A and C Black edition but is a second edition reprint of the Kegan Paul 1910 edition which was illustrated only by b/w photographs. 3000 copies. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Heavy creasing to rear cover. Mottling to cloth. Inscriptions in ink to front pastedown have been covered with white paper (stuck down). Some transfer from original ink inscription to front endpaper. Annotation in pencil to title page. Creasing to plates at rear. Some browning and foxing.

This is assumed a reprint, as it doesn't have gilt titles to front cover, or top edge of outer page edges.
