Spine browned. Damp staining to lower edge of boards. A few minor marks to boards. Front board slightly bowed. Text block and endpapers browned. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few chips, browned to spine and grubby to rear panel.
Blue cloth. B/w photos and folding diagrams. Vol I has 518 pages, Vol II has 448 pages. Volume I is a second impression of the first edition, volume II is Second Edition 1935. Boards marked. Corners rubbed and worn. Scattered foxing present mainly to endpapers and text block, volume II has foxing throughout. Volume II has a rubber ink stamp impression to half-title page, Front joint cracked else binding tight.
