A Medley of Prose & Verse for Boys and Girls. Large format. Cream cloth with blue decorations and titles. 8 colour plates tipped-onto brown card. Packed with b/w text illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some browning to spine. Ink stamp to front endpaper. Foxing, browning and some margin marks.

'The Jolly Books'. Cream and blue decorated boards. Colour frontis, 3 b/w full-page illustrations. Minimal bumping to spine. Covers are browned at edges. Pages have been roughly opened after the binding process causing ragged edges and tears. Large piece of page 15/16 has been neatly reinserted. Small booksellers sticker to rear pastedown.

A large format board book with cloth spine. Bright colour pictures every page. Spine and corners worn. Covers slightly grubby and foxed. Foxing and some light fingermarks else contents clean.

Very good condition.
Oblong format. White pictorial boards. Simple b/w drawings throughout. Billy Bobtail is a rabbit. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed, tiny nick to side of spine. Covers a little grubby and foxed. Light foxing to endpapers. Name in ink (Alec Buckels - but no idea if this is an authentic author signature or not!) to front endpaper. A couple of page hinges slightly cracked. Creases to some pages from the binding process. Contents clean.
