Jerry's first visit to a farm and what he saw there. Blue cloth spine. Pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. 47 pages. Spine bumped, rubbed and faded. Corners bumped and worn. Some scuffing to board edges. Cover grubby. Light creasing to endpaper. A little foxing and a few grubby marks to page margins.

Small booksellers label to front pastedown. Foxing to contents. "The butterfly" written in child's hand underneath text illustration on last text page. Margin tear to inside margin of frontis. Child's name written in biro a couple of times to title-page (with some doodles as well).

Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Ladybird Series 474. A Tasseltip Tale. Pictorial paper boards. Light wear to cover edges. Contents are bright. A few hinges are a little pulled and stitching becoming a little weak in a couple of places. Pictorial wrapper is edge-torn and chipped with loss to corners, small tape repair to top of front panel and top of spine and is grubby. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper.

First story is "Little Miss Robinson Crusoe" by Corbett. Includes some b/w cat illustrations by Wain. Spine bumped. Corners worn and edges slightly rubbed. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Endpapers partially browned. A nice copy.

Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows young boy sailor with a small girl on his shoulder. First story is "Molly's Decision" (this is a long story serialised throughout the annual) by Branthwaite. Colour plates mounted on green paper plus b/w text illustrations throughout. Spine bumped and faded with small dark mark to centre. Covers edge rubbed. Endpapers browned, small piece chipped from lower edge of front endpaper. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to page edges. One plate has slight damage to edges, one mount has very slight paper damage to verso.

Spine bumped. Corners and board edges worn. Small pieces of paper missing from both front and rear board. Front board lightly scratched. Tiny hole near to centre of front endpaper. A little foxing and one or two marks otherwise contents generally clean.

Series 474. Pictorial paper boards. Some bumping and wear to spine and corners. Chipping, with couple of tiny splits to top and tail of spine. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Small page margin tear to title page and one other page to text. Illustrations are lovely and bright! Wrapper is price-cut with edge-tears and chips; around 2" loss along bottom of rear cover and spine; other smaller areas of loss to corners etc; some grubby marks.
