A classic reference work, of interest to collectors of British militaria and those interested in British military history. Red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. Shelf wear to top & tail of spine with slight fading to top of spine. One or two foxspots and grubby marks but generally contents clean. Plain dustwrapper with red titles is worn at corners with slight loss, faded to spine and grubby.
Large format 11 x 8.5", pictorial paper boards, green cloth spine. 6 colour plates plus numerous brown and white drawings. Text in brown ink. A tale told from the puppy's perspective. A mischievous puppy gets in to all sorts of trouble! Spine bumped and worn. Corners worn, and outside edge of rear cover very worn and bumped. Some loss of paper cover from rear board, approx. 2 x 0.5", creasing alongside. Scratches to onlay. Covers a bit grubby. Ink inscription to front pastedown. Diagram of door drawn in pencil to verso of frontis. Foxing throughout plus an odd mark.
Purple spine, pictorial front cover, white titles. 11 x 8.5". Illustrated endpapers. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Edges of spine slightly discoloured. A few light scratches to front cover. Endpapers browned. A few light brown marks or fingermarks to contents but mostly they are clean. All plates present, colours bright.

Brown l front board with pictorial onlay showing Me and Mike and some balloons. 6 colour illustrations plus many brown and white text illustrations. Pictorial endpapers. Bumping to spine and corners. Small mark to top of rear board. A little bubbling to pictorial onlay and front endpaper. Heavy foxing to title page and last page of text. Also foxing to endpapers and some page edges otherwise contents are generally clean. Colour plates are in very good condition.
