Cloth spine. Front cover shows a girl waving a hankie, ice-skating. First story is 'Pen the Poacher' by Joan. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Covers edge worn. Some scuffing to covers. White cloth spine is grubby. Rear cover edges are grubby/slightly damp stained. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis (with a small 'merry christmas' sticker to top corner of same page). Heavy foxing to page edges and textblock.

Small ink name stamp to front free-endpaper. Some red biro annotations/markings to the play in one act - "Unbleached Calico". Some hinges pulled. Foxing, mainly to textblock.
