A poem. Leather spine & corners, marbled paper boards. Gilt title and tooling decorations to spine. Marbled text block. 19 hand-coloured plates plus title page. Boards rubbed and worn at edges. Marbling to text block fading. Front hinge cracked. Contents grubby. All plates are present, nice and bright but margins browned.

Almost very good condition.
Large format. Leather spine; raised bands to spine. B/w illustrations. Includes a fascinating History of the Bicycle. Covers are very heavily worn, with much loss of cover/top surface of leather spine. Chipping along edges of covers and scuffing/grubby marks. Foxing to outer page edges. Contents are still very good - a few pale margin marks. Joints are a bit cracked.

Blue Nigerian Goatskin spine with gilt title, purple vendome cloth sides. Gilt endpapers. Originally published in 1859. 69 pages. Contained in original slip case which has full colour onlay to one side; in excellent condition apart from a couple of small marks.

Some scuffs and chips of leather spines and corners. Foxing to prelims of books; some margin marks; page browning. Hand-coloured illustrations are still nice and bright.

Larger format. Heavy wear and some damage to cover edges. Pastedowns are starting to come away from suede at edges; also creased. Marks to covers; a few nicks. Some damp marks along a few edges. Some margin marks, but contents are still generally very good in this more unusual format of this title!
