Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
A story of Combined Operations. Red cloth, black titles and vignette to front cover. Colour frontispiece, 10 other b/w illustrations. 7.5 x 5". 192 pages. Hinge between frontis and title-page is cracked causing frontis to be detached at lower half. Name in blue biro to front pastedown. Light foxing to textblock. Last page is almost detached (hanging on by a whisker) and the margins of this page and the facing pages have been browned where there was old tape holding it in place (tape now gone). Dustwrapper is worn, torn and creased at edges with some loss and tape/paper repairs on verso. Rear panel is a little grubby.

Light brown cloth, black titles and vignette of stag to front. Colour frontis plus b/w illustrations. 186 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Name and address in ink to front free-endpaper. Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper is a little edge worn, small piece has been torn from top edge of rear panel and neatly reinserted with tape on verso.

Damp staining to rear cover, and rear pastedown has become pale pink from damp. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Small mark to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn, grubby and damp stained on rear panel. Loss to top and tail of spine.
