Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. A few light fingermarks to page margins else contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with pieces of loss, small hole to spine and also a little grubby.

Light browning to half title-page and last text page, contents otherwise fine. Dustwrapper is edge worn and browned to spine and edges.

Coloured frontis and b/w illustrations reminiscent of Milly-Molly-Mandy. Blue cloth, yellow titles and vignette to front cover. 94 numbered pages. Spine and corners bumped. Spine faded at top and tail (where matching sections are missing from dustwrapper). Bookplate to front pastedown (name not filled in). A few foxspots to textblock and a slight musty smell to contents. Dustwrapper is worn and creased with loss to spine and front edges.

Spine is faded, browned and has split to base; some chipping. Scuffing marks to covers. Bumping and wear to corners. Title page is MISSING! A few hinges are pulled. Browning to outer page edges and some page margins, which also have a few small tears. A reading copy.

Colour plates and illustrations, b/w text illustrations. First story is "How We Stole an Uncle From Australia". Edges rubbed & worn. Hinge between colour plate & 117 and also 136 & colour plate is pulled (i.e. the section is starting to loosen but binding is still holding). A few minor margin marks. All colour plates present. A few closed margin tears. Overall a nice, bright copy.

Tan boards, red decoration to front. Colour frontis and numerous b/w text illustrations by the author. 94 pages. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Front board is a little bowed. A few grubby finger margin marks. 6 B/w illustrations have been neatly coloured (some only partially). Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is grubby with some foxing; has closed edge-tears that have been neatly repaired to verso with magic tape. A few chips of loss at corners of wrapper; small triangle of loss to wrapper at base of spine.
