Spine and corners a little bumped, corners slightly worn. Small nick to lower edge of front cover. Small split to spine rear edge. Covers clean with gilt still bright. Attractive pictorial bookplate of Dora Allison on front pastedown. Inscription in ink on front endpaper dated December 1869. Some light creasing to pages and some fingermarks. Two pages have circular black marks to them (pages 88 and 120). A bright copy of a scarce early fairy tale book.

Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Contents clean. Green dustwrapper is lightly worn at corners and browned to spine. A nice copy of an unusual title.
