US pirated story of Peter Rabbit. Small format. Red covers with small rectangular pictorial onlay to top of front cover and title beneath. Colour & b/w illustrations. Spine is worn with loss at top and tail. Fading to spine and cover edges. Front free-endpaper has been removed. Joints cracked. Rear free-endpaper is creased. There is possibly a colour illustration missing between pages 12 and 13. Page 12 has a heavy vertical crease to centre. There are fingermarks and other marks to contents.

Covers are worn, faded at edges with light damp spots to front cover. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose but binding still tight. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins. 4 pages have a brown stain to margins, 1 b/w illustration slightly affected.
