A Fantastic Play in Prologue and One Act. The classic tale of Punch and Judy. Introductory essay by Max Beerbohm. 9 tipped-in colour plates mounted on brown paper. Large format. Beige cloth spine, grey marble effect boards. 61 pages. Board edges rubbed. Three flower stickers/decoupage to lower half of front pastedown. Text block and endpapers browned. Small burn mark to top margin of page 13-17 with minor loss. One or two closed tears to page edges (no loss), a few grubby marks to contents. All plates present, some have a lower corner crease.
