Almost very good condition. Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows girl in pink dress holding a baby towards a parrot. Colour plates, b/w and two-tone text illustrations by numerous illustrators. First story is "The Brown Man". 128 pages.

board edges rubbed and worn, lower edge of front board knocked. Boards are scuffed and grubby. Endpapers grubby, contents browned. 6 colour plates present with varying degrees of foxing to margins. Musty odour present.
