Large format. Red cloth with lovely gilt illustrations to front cover and spine. Gilt titles. 312 pages. 8 delightful tissue-guarded and captioned mounted colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. a few small dents to cover edges. Covers are slightly discoloured. Tiny booksellers sticker to rear pastedown. Endpapers lightly browned. There is some seeping of the red cloth onto the textblock. Plates all present and in fine condition.
The Raphael House Library series. Red cloth spine. Pictorial boards. 12 charming colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 135 pages, publication list to rear. Spine bumped and split at lower 2". Corners worn, covers edge rubbed. Covers are scuffed and slightly grubby. Some hinges cracked/pulled. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Foxing to last few pages.

Green cloth spine with dark titles and vignette. Front cover shows three children in a canoe. First story Tom's Pigs by Marjorie Seymour. Illustrated endpapers by Anne Anderson. Colour plates, colour and b/w illustrations. 200 pages. Spine and corners worn. Small tear in cloth at base of spine. Edges of boards exposed on rear cover where pictorial onlay has worn away. Endpapers browned. Minor worm damage to top corner of frontis. Clear tape repair to gutter of pages 154 and 155 where pages have pulled from stitching. Binding sound. Occasional foxspots but contents generally clean.

Heavy foxing to contents, mainly textblock and some other marks.

Some pink ink marks to title on front cover. Puzzles and colouring pages completed. Foxing and light page browning throughout.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners; edges have been 'touched up' with colour ink. Uneven browning to spine. Marks to rear cover. Foxing; heaviest to endpapers and outer page edges.
Yellow glazed pictorial boards, front shows a boy and girl at a window with elves, pixies, a puppy and a couple of birds. First story is "The Lonely Snowman" by Charles Griffiths. Colour illustrations throughout. 92 pages. 1.5" split to top of spine; some chipping of laminate. Small margin tear to front endpaper. Painting page has been completed. Contents are still very good.
