Large format. Cloth spine. Pictorial boards, front shows girl in green dress in foreground, boy in kilt and other girls behind. Colour plates, b/w and two-tone text illustrations. First story is "The Little Roundy Man Finds A Chimney". Spine bumped and slightly darkened. Covers are edge worn, rear cover is slightly grubby and scuffed. Pencil writing and doodles to front endpapers, crayon drawing and pencil doodles to rear endpapers. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins.

Pretty colour plates plus numerous b/w and two-tone illustrations. First story is "Rosalie, the Dark-Haired Princess". Board edges rubbed & worn, tail of spine rubbed & frayed. Boards scuffed and grubby. Joints cracked, rear joint starting to split at top. Front endpapers have cutouts of children glued down on them and some surface paper damage. Name in ink to belongs to box. Grubby marks to contents. Hinges pulled, binding a little worn but holding. 6 colour plates present.

Colour plates plus b/w and two tone illustrations by many illustrators. 112 pages including book list. First story is Birds and Bubbles. Board edges rubbed & worn. Boards scuffed and scratched. Cloth spine faded but title still bold. Browning to contents. Bookplate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink dated 1923 to free front endpaper. Plate facing page 56 is detached. Colouring, and pencil scribbles to some b/w illustrations. Hinges pulled, binding is worn but holding. Musty odour present.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Odd small mark to covers. Ink inscription to half-title page dated 1918. Small bookseller's price label to rear pastedown. A couple of hinges cracked. Endpapers browned. Foxing to text block. Odd grubby fingermark to contents. All plates present, a couple are starting to detach from bottom.

Edited by Vredenburg. 6 colour plates, incl. 2 by Wain. B/w and two-tone illustrations. 128 pages. Heavy crease to corner of rear cover. Chipping and wear to other covers. Couple of splits to spine, with some fraying to cloth. Binding is a bit weak - some pages have partially come away at hinge. Name in ink to front endpaper with tape mark. All plates are present - but frontis has chipping along edge, with some loss and at least one other plate has margin tear. Pages 31/32 and one plate are Detached. A reading copy.
