Small format. Pink cloth, blue titles. Full page b/w illustrations. 148 pages. NOTE: This book is contained in a LATER dustwrapper (c.1942). A little bumping to spine and a couple of corners; a few light white marks to covers. Dark foxing to outer page edges. Later dustwapper is faded to spine, with 0.5" loss to base; some chipping to top; also small edge loss to top edge of rear panel. Wrapper also has some foxing and a few marks.

Very scarce dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss from top of spine and top corner of front panel. A couple of horizontal tears to spine with a few white labels stuck to verso to strengthen/repair. Spine browned. Wrapper slightly grubby.
