Red cloth with black titles to front cover and spine. 4 b/w plates. 224 pages. War economy edition (lighter volume). Spine is faded and bumped. Wear to cover edges. Some marks to covers. Presentation plate to front pastedown. Dated from adverts. All plates present.
Blue cloth with black titles to spine and front cover with decoration to spine and yellow line borders. 4 b/w plates. Standish novel. 223 pages. Spine and corners are a little bumped and worn, with a little chipping to cloth. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Dated from adverts. All plates are present. Wrapper is price-cut and very edge-torn and chipped, with a few inch piece of loss to base of spine. What's left of wrapper has been stuck to a white piece of paper, to strenthen it.
