Covers 2/10/1909 - 24/09/1910. Large format. Red pictorial cloth, gilt titles. 15 colour plates. B/w illustrations. First story is For the King by H.A. Hinkson. Spine bumped, worn and browned with a 2.5" split to top front. Corners bumped and very worn. Damp marks to front cover and black mark and couple of scratches to rear board. Both joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Front endpaper creased vertically. inscription to title page. Some foxing. Tears to margin of one plate. Some hinges are cracked.

Saturday 7th October 1899 - Saturday 29th September 1900. Red pictorial cloth, gilt titles. Pictorial endpapers - Before and After the Battle. 14 colour plates plus b/w illustrations including some by Louis Wain. Corners bumped and a little rubbed. Spine browned and frayed at top and bottom. Covers a little faded in places. Cloth on front edge of spine rubbed in places. Endpapers a little foxed. One plate is MISSING. Creasing to a couple of plates. One tissue guard is detached. Some browning to pages but contents generally clean.
Volume 25 Saturday 4th October 1902-Saturday 26th September 1903. Large format. Red pictorial cloth with gilt title and date to spine. Pictorial endpapers depicting events in the reigns of the Edwards of England. 12 colour plates. B/w illustrations including Louis Wain cats. Corners and some board edges bumped and rubbed. Top and bottom of spine are bumped. Cloth split to front of top of spine with small tear to top of word 'annual'. Some cloth missing to top and bottom of spine which is browned. Front joint is cracked. Browning and a little foxing to endpapers. Three tissue guards are missing from colour plates. Some page browning and foxing to contents which are generally clean.
A story of the Days of Athelstan. Brown pictorial cloth. 4 b/w plates. 272 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Fingerprints to endpapers and light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with slight loss and a little grubby, removal of small label to rear panel.
