Rebacked with burgundy cloth spine, retaining original title piece. New endpapers. Frontis is MISSING and has been replaced with the plate which was opposite page 1. 1 other plate MISSING (Our British Cavalry). Fold-out plate opposite page 289 is creased. Browning and fingering to contents.

Edited by G.A.Hutchison, stories by numerous authors. First item (a poem) is 'A Holiday Discovery' by Somerville Gibney. Blue & white pictorial paper wraps. Staple binding. B/w Frontis by Alfred Pearse plus numerous b/w illustrations by multiple people throughout. Adverts to front and rear. Staples rusty and bleeding therefore binding is a little fragile especially for the covers. Spine is worn with a little loss. Covers are browned. A few marks mainly to margins but overall a good copy for a magazine of this age!

Pictorial endpapers depicting events in the reigns of the Edwards of England. 12 colour plates. B/w illustrations including Louis Wain cats. Corners and some board edges bumped and rubbed. Top and bottom of spine are bumped. Cloth split to front of top of spine with small tear to top of word 'annual'. Some cloth missing to top and bottom of spine which is browned. Front joint is cracked. Browning and a little foxing to endpapers. Three tissue guards are missing from colour plates. Some page browning and foxing to contents which are generally clean.
