Blue cloth, gilt titles to spine. Embossed border to front cover. 40 tissue-guarded colour plates. 3000 copies printed. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; grubby marks and spotting to covers. Foxing throughout - some heavy (e.g. page 89).

Uneven fading to covers; spine browning; couple of small pin holes to spine. Bumping to cover edges, with some grubby marks. Publisher ink stamp and insert to prelims. A few grubby margin marks. Hand coloured plates are lovely and bright!
