From the landing of Napoleon in France on 26 February to the St. Cloud Convention on 3 July, this book records comprehensively the strength, composition and distribution of the opposing armies, and covers every advance and battle. Originally published in 1848. Red boards, gilt title to spine. ISBN: 1853670693. A few marks to outer page edges. Wrapper is a little edge-creased and faded to spine.
Dark green cloth with gilt titles and pale green and blue decorations. 37 captioned tissue-guarded colour plates. Top edge gilt. A and C Black 10s Series. Chipping and wear to cover edges; a few splits to top and tail of spine. Scuffing to covers. Front endpaper is detached, but loosely inserted. Page browning. Plate opposite page 20 is slightly ragged. Browning to margins of plates.

Some slight browning to spine of dustwrapper.
