Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is slightly faded to spine (normal for this series), a few foxspots to rear panel, flaps and verso.

Spine bumped with nicks to cloth at ends, also browned. Corners bumped and worn. Covers grubby with a few marks and some uneven fading/darkening. Front joint and a couple of hinges cracked but binding is firm. Name in pencil to front endpaper. Ink spot affects margins of pages 97- 116, some more than others. A few other small marks to contents. Some light browning and foxing.
