Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
Large format, cream cloth spine. Beige boards with pictorial onlay to front. 8 pretty colour plates. B/w text illustrations. A little bumping to spine and corners. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Browning to page edges. Small tears to bottom of some pages. Top corner of page 11/12 missing. Stain to bottom of page 44 and margin of plate opposite, also affects a few pages before. Couple of hinges pulled leading to bottom of a couple of plates being detached. Contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears, creases and several small areas of loss. Wrapper is grubby with a few marks. Some browning to verso.

Blue cloth covers with large pictorial onlay to front, gilt titles to spine. 8 colour photos of dolls wearing makes from book plus b/w illustrations. 270 pages. Covers are very marked, possibly damp staining. Spine bumped with wear and fraying to base. Front joint is almost broken behind frontis, holding by approx. 4" of webbing. All colour photos are present but most are partially detached, one is detached. Text pages are very good.

Green cloth covers with gilt title block and decorations. 10.5 x 9.25". 24 pages of chromolithographs by Kronheim. Contains Nusery Songs, Edith and Milly's Housekeeping, Life of a Doll and John Gilpin. Book rebacked using original spine, new endpapers. Spine and corners bumped. Corners worn. Deep scratch to front cover. A few small marks and a little scuffing to covers. Ink name and date to prelims. One chromo has some coloured scribble near top and there is some outlining in colour to the browning on the blank pages opposite other chromos. Crease to frontis and small amount of pen scribble to blank page opposite. Contents and browned and foxed with a few marks.

A Volland Happy Children Book. Red paper boards with yellow titles and pictures of Raggedy Ann. 9.25 x 6.25". Illustrated endpapers. Colour illustrations throughout. Top 2.5" and bottom 1.25" of backstrip missing, wear to remaining. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers slightly scuffed. Large tear to front endpaper has been repaired but final inch of tear has not. Erased writing on front endpaper and half-title page, also pen line and grubby marks to half-title. 3 hinges starting to crack. A few marks and fingermarks to contents but many pages are clean. Endpapers browned.

Brown boards with red titles. Green cloth spine. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine re-backed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Some small indents to rear board. Small bump to top of rear board which also affects internal pages. Boards are grubby. Small red mark to top of front board. Name and date to front endpaper. Front joint beginning to crack. One hinge cracked. Erased writing and slightly sticky residue possibly from removal of label to front endpaper which is a little grubby. Some foxing and fingering to contents.

A few small marks to covers. Light lines to onlay (only visible at certain angles). Front cover ever so slightly bowed. Pencil inscription to front endpaper, small bookseller's ink stamp to front pastedown. Half-title page and last text page very browned. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and page edges. Brown spots affect lower margins on a few pages including one plate. Dustwrapper has loss, mainly from top of spine and lower corner of front panel. Also has a few small tears and is grubby.

Light wear to spine and corners. Contents are excellent. Wrapper is faded to spine, with a little edge-creasing.

Emma is a royal doll. She tires of life in a museum and tries to escape. Yellow cloth, black picture and titles. B/w illustrations. 163 pages. Bumping to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers are grubby with some stains. Marks/grubby fingermarks to endpapers and contents. Pages are lightly browned and there are a few fox spots. Book leans to one side a little. Dustwrapper has a large area of loss from the front panel and loss from the top of spine area. Grubby and edge chipped..
