Books are fine, apart from what appears to be a slight publishing error/fault to Volume I; it has a little cloth/webbing from binding stuck out beneath rear pastedown at base (not cut off fully); also small what appears to be glue mark to outer page edges. Slip case is nearly fine; some light wear to edges.

Red cloth with gilt decorations and colour onlay. 286pp. 8.5 x 5.5". 1cm x 2cm piece of loss to top of spine. A few chips to base of spine. Darkening to edges of covers. Name in ink to half-title page. Some foxing, mostly to outer page edges; some to page margins. All plates present.
