Dustwrapper flap is stuck to front pastedown along bottom edge. Spot of surface paper damage to rear pastedown where flap has been stuck to it, now free. Contents clean. Clear cover on dustwrapper stuck on verso along top and bottom edges.

Green cloth covers, gilt vignette and titles to front and spine. Endpapers are illustrated. 8 beautiful guarded colour plates and many b/w text illustrations throughout. 304 pages. Spine bumped and rubbed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Couple of marks to rear board. Front and rear joint starting to crack. A few hinges pulled. Heavy foxing to prelims and last few pages. Foxing throughout book including verso of plates. One plate has a small nick to one edge.
