One day a mischievous leprechaun leads a band of followers in an attempt to break up the railway... Humour and excitement is captured with ingenious detail in BB's superb b/w illustrations and colour frontis. Blue pictorial boards. 127 pages. Minimal bumping to spine. A couple of light foxspots to edge of front cover. A few light foxspots to contents. Dustwrapper is slightly edge chipped with slight loss to top corner of front panel and is a bit grubby to rear panel.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners; spotting to couple of corners. Some browning and uneven fading; especially to spine, which also has a damp mark to base. Bookplate to front endpaper. Some foxing - mostly to outer page edges and endpapers. Name in ink to front endpaper. Wrapper is in two halves, with spine MISSING; tape marks to edges; much creasing and tears; but both panels are mostly complete!
