Volume 1 is probably nearer very good - Bumping and a bit of chipping to corners, some browning and foxing; binding is nice and tight. Volume 2 - is chipped with splits to edges; tear in cloth on rear, but top cloth still present; damp stained; half of title page is MISSING - some heavy foxing and damp marking throughout. Please note, this appears to be a MIXED set with slightly different cloths - possibly bought at different times.
