A book of nonsense. Perhaps it would not be wise to take it as serious history for it shares the failings of such great historians as Froude and Macauley; it is not always accurate in fact. Blue cloth spine with white title label, pictorial paper boards. 22 poems about Kings and Queens. Colour illustrations to text. 54 pages. A little foxing/browning to some cover edges. Tiny inscription to front pastedown. Faint erased writing and light corner crease to front endpaper. Some light browning and foxing to contents otherwise clean. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped, panels and spine are browned and a bit grubby.
