Stitching pulled (between first and second stories).

Some light fingermarks to page margins.

One of Mary Tourtel's first books before she went on to create Rupert Bear! Dumpy Books For Children series No. 10. Small format. Green cloth with dark green titles and stripes. Colour pictures with text facing, printed on one side of the paper only. A delightful little book! Foxing and browning to covers, with some uneven fading. Small nick to cloth at base of spine. Front joint is a bit cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and browning. A few hinges are a little pulled.

Inscription in ink and name and address in belongs to box on front pastedown. Some colouring to the painting pages. Two patches of surface paper damage to rear pastedown. Light page browning to contents.
