The artist captures the outstanding natural beauty of the countryside around Carlops and the valley of the North Esk river, which lies just south of Edinburgh. He was artist in Residence in the area for 3 years. ISBN: 9781841588346. A nice copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby mainly to rear panel.

Skye to Oban. Green cloth. B/w photos. Colour maps to rear. Second edition - no mention of this within the book but carries the later dustwrapper, being a b/w photo with green and blue title background, blue rear panel with list of Shell Guides ending with South-West Wales. Boards nice and bright, light rubbing to lower edges. Name in ink to verso of free front endpaper. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few closed tears which have been repaired to verso with clear tape (no loss), top & tail of spine rubbbed with loss of surface paper and minor chipping. Slight musty odour present.
