Leather spine and corners, marbled paper boards. Raised bands and gilt title label to spines. Boards scuffed and worn at edges. Volume II is cracked to outside front spine edge with slight loss of leather to top. Contemporary inscription in ink to front endpapers. Volume II has insect damage to gutter edge of prelims. Scattered foxing and age marks throughout.
