Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Small format. Cloth spine, pale blue pictorial boards. B/w illustrations. Corners very slightly bumped and rubbed. Some light foxspots to spine. Endpapers partly browned else contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a few small tears which have been tape repaired on verso, spine of wrapper is slightly browned.

The story of an impertinent lizard and how he lost his tail. Fuschia and green pictorial boards. Delightful woodcuts throughout. 41pp plus booklist. 6.75 x 5". Light rubbing to board edges. Fading to top and tail of cloth spine. Blue pencil crayon scribble to front board. Contents clean. Matching pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few chips which affect 'Bil' of the title to spine (missing).

Orange pictorial boards show circus pictures, two children and clown to front, lion in hat to spine, ringmaster and horse to rear. 8 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 128 pages. 8.5 x 7". A chunky volume of stories and rhymes. First story is The Dancing Bear. Covers slightly darkened. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Clear tape stuck to corners. A few hinges cracked. Name in ink to verso of frontis and pencil inscription to verso of title page. Some foxing and an odd mark to contents. All plates present but one is detached and two are partially detached.
