Issues 609 to 631 bound together and including "The House of Surprises" by L.T.Meade bound in at the back "being the Little Folks Annual for 1888" which includes a colour frontis and b/w illustrations. Brown pictorial cloth with gilt. 2 other colour plates. B/w illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers lightly browned. Ink name stamp to front endpaper. Some foxing.

Damp stains to cover edges. Browning and foxing to contents. Front free-endpaper removed. Light spotting to margins of one plate.
