Terracotta cloth boards, gilt titles. xxiv and 425 pages including index. NOT illustrated. Boards edge-rubbed, browned, scuffed to rear board, gilt title to spine faded, small split in cloth to top of spine. Text block browned with small stain to vertical edge. Front joint cracked but binding is tight. Endpapers browned and foxed. Contents generally clean.

Light blue/grey cloth boards, brown titles. 18 b/w plates. Spine browned and worn at top & tail with some fraying. Corners worn, small bump to lower front edge of board. Grubby marks to boards. Text block browned. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Front hinge pulled and frontis almost detached. Scattered foxing throughout.
