Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A Short and a Merry One! A tale for children about a Persian cat named Mary and a dog named William. Oblong format. Green cloth spine, green paper boards, oblong pictorial onlay to front. 8 full page colour plates plus b/w illustrations. REDUCED FROM £480. Covers lovely and bright. First gathering a little loose and pulled at hinges. A few pale foxspots/marks else contents bright. White pictorial wrapper is edge-worn and torn with a little loss and a little grubby. A nice copy of a scarce item.

Brown cloth with pictorial front board. Colour and b/w plates. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Front and rear joint cracked. Hinges pulled. Name in ink to front pastedown. One page and one plate detached. Possibly one plat missing (?). 2" margin tear to one page.

Brown cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows Town Crier surrounded by children. Full page colour illustrations and b/w illustrations throughout. First story 'When daddy's ship came home' by L.L.Weedon. Spine and corners worn, cover edges slightly rubbed. Front cover still bright and clean, rear cover a little scuffed. Some light page browning and foxing else contents clean, name in pencil on front endpaper.

20th year of publication. Grey pictorial boards, front cover shows children dancing round a pole. 10 B/w plates and illustrations. Pictorial endpapers. 132 pages. 3 of 6 colour plates. Covers are slightly marked. Some foxing and margin marks. Joints cracked and some hinges pulled causing contents to be a little loose. Some silver foil paper was pressed between two pages and has left a residue.
