Red spine with pictorial front board showing three children and a bike. Pictorial endpapers. 6 colour plates. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Some scuff/scratch marks to rear board. Boards are grubby. Joints and some hinges are cracked. Tears to some pages at margin edges. 2 plates are detached. Foxing to endpapers and some page edges. Some light fingering to contents.

Pictorial boards front showing children on stepping stones through stream. Six chromolithograph plates, packed full of b/w text illustraitons. First story 'Our pantomime' by L.L. Weedon Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges scuffed and rubbed. Some scratches to boards. Covers generally grubby. Joints and some hinges cracked. Frontis is partially detached at the top and has a small tear. One plate is detached but present. Another two plates are partially detached. Erased inscription to box on front pastedown. Endpapers and page edges are browned. Some foxing and fingering.

Large format. Brown cloth spine, cream boards with picture of children playing hunting to front. Two b/w illustrations by Louis Wain (cats) - one entitled "The Doctor" and the other is double-spread, entitled "The Cats' Excursion". Chromolithograph plates plus b/w and tinted text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Covers edge rubbed, slightly grubby and scratched. Small white mark to spine. Some hinges cracked. Frontis partially detached at bottom of page. Browning and foxing to contents. A few marks otherwise contents generally clean,

Board edges rubbed. Covers grubby and marked. Front joint cracked showing webbing below. Inscription in ink and previous owners address label to front pastedown. Name and address in ink (name has been crossed out and written in again) to front endpaper. Small tape mark to top of front endpaper. Hinges beginning to crack. Foxing and some marks throughout book. Plates all present but are foxed at margins. Some small margin tears.

Attractive pale blue pictorial cloth with gilt titles. Front cover shows boy and girl being pulled on skates by dog. 6 chromolithograph plates. Numerous b/w illustrations. All edges gilt. All plates present though one foxed and frayed at edges. Bookplate to front pastedown. first two page and two pages to centre detached. Page-edge browning. Spine browned. Front cover exceptionally bright and clean.
