Almost very good condition.
Pictorial card wraps with green cloth spine. Front cover shows some children on board a boat. Slight shaping to front cover. 4 colour and several b/w illustrations. Cover edges are rubbed. Rear cover repaired at top margin. Small closed tear to rear cover which is grubby. Pages are browned with a little foxing and a few grubby marks.

A pop-up book with introduction by Weatherly. 5 pop-up scenes plus numerous b/w illustrations. Green cloth spine, pictorial front board shows children dancing around a Christmas tree. Decorative endpapers. Nister no. 853. Spine bumped and worn. Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges are scuffed. Boards are scratched and a bit grubby. Front joint cracked. Endpapers and page edges browned. Staples rusty. One page, which has ragged edges, is detached. 4" tear to last page of text plus other smaller tears to page edges and margins. Light colouring to several illustrations. Some fingering to contents. Horse's tail slightly creased in second pop-up, and couple of small patches of surface paper damage in deer pop-up. Other pop-ups nice and bright.

Two b/w illustrations by Louis Wain (cats) - one entitled "The Doctor" and the other is double-spread, entitled "The Cats' Excursion". Chromolithograph plates plus b/w and tinted text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Covers edge rubbed, slightly grubby and scratched. Small white mark to spine. Some hinges cracked. Frontis partially detached at bottom of page. Browning and foxing to contents. A few marks otherwise contents generally clean,

A few marks to margins but generally clean. Some light foxing and browning to contents. Large crease to one page corner.

Cloth spine, pictorial front board shows children putting flag into top of a sand castle. Mounted colour frontis. B/w text illustrations. First story is "The New Yacht". Spine worn and split at top and tail. Corners worn. Scuff marks to rear cover and a few light scratch marks to front. Prize inscription in ink to front endpaper. Hinges are pulled causing contents to be loose, one gather is almost detached but just holding on. Some grubby fingermarks to contents.

Spine bumped, worn and faded with small splits to top and bottom. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Some scratches to covers. Both joints and some hinges cracked. Front endpaper partially detached. A little surface paper damage to front endpaper where a list had been stuck. Page browning and some foxing plus some marks to contents, including a co A few small tears to margins. One plate is creased.

One b/w plate by Wain entitled 'The Cats Party.' Spine bumped, worn and faded. Corners bumped and worn. Cover edges darkened and covers a little marked. Front and rear joints badly cracked showing webbing beneath. Some hinges cracked. One plate is loose and has ragged edges. Foxing and browning especially to prelims. A few light marks otherwise contents generally clean.
