A story of the Lockett family. Peach cloth, green title to spine. B/w illustrations. 214 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to some cover edges. Name in pen to half-title page otherwise contents clean. Pages a bit wrinkled (binding error), Top 1" and bottom half of dustwrapper spine missing, edge worn with some small pieces of loss. Panels and spine browned. Name in pen to top of front flap.

An exiting adventure involving a remote and lonely bungalow and a cruel sea. Dark red cloth, black titles to spine. Blue pictorial endpapers, b/w illustrations. 214 pages. Bumping to spine and corners. Boards damp stained and a little bowed. Some pink staining to bottom of front pastedown where colour has seeped through from cloth. Name and date to front endpaper. Rear endpapers browned. A little foxing mainly to page edges. Pages are wrinkled. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and small area of loss to top and bottom of spine. Spine and top of rear panel browned. Rear panel is grubby.

Heavy foxing to contents and some hinges cracked. Otherwise clean.

Spine and corners bumped and worn, a little splitting at top and tail of spine. Rear board is scuffed and marked, with some surface damage. Some scratch marks to front board. Some splitting to front joint. Elegant inscription on half-title page. Contents generally very good.

Several plate pages have ink dots (......) to margin at very edges, near where book is bound. Some pencil annotation to one page in prelims. Foxing.
