Heavy bumping and wear to covers; some splash/stains to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and a few page margins. Some corner creasing. Contents are still very good. Wrapper is grubby, creased with tears and chips; a few pieces of loss; some tape repairs.

Small format. Pink cloth, blue titles. Full page b/w illustrations. 148 pages. NOTE: This book is contained in a LATER dustwrapper (c.1942). A little bumping to spine and a couple of corners; a few light white marks to covers. Dark foxing to outer page edges. Later dustwapper is faded to spine, with 0.5" loss to base; some chipping to top; also small edge loss to top edge of rear panel. Wrapper also has some foxing and a few marks.

Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with loss from top of spine and rear fold. Spine browned.
