Slight damage to front pastedown from removal of small tape pieces. Some foxing. Dustwrapper is worn and torn with loss and white label reinforcements on verso, old tape pieces to flaps.
Red cloth, blind decorations to covers and spine. Gilt title to spine. Colour frontis plate by N. Tenison. 284 pages. 7.5 x 5". Spine bumped and worn with split to base. Some rubbing to edge of front cover. Prize plate to front pastedown. Front joint reinforced with white paper repair. Heavy foxing to page edges and lower corner tip of rear free-endpaper torn.
Blue boards, silver title to spine. 288 pages. Spine and corners bumped. Spine faded and faint spotting to covers. Endpapers browned. Heavy foxing to endpapers, prelims and page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with just a little loss and foxed to flaps and verso.
A book of Nursery Stories. Pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Bumping to corners. Endpapers have some grubby finger marks. Foxing to outer page edges. Odd margin mark. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few nicks.

All plates present. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped, loss from top of spine and rear panel. Spine and panels slightly faded and foxed. Stain to spine in title.

Pictorial boards and spine. Front shows a girl on the river. First story is "Judy and the Treasure" by Agnes Frome. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Stain to top inch of spine, top edge of text block and small area alongside on rear cover. Other light stains to spine, rear cover rubbed. Rear joint broken but webbing is holding firmly in place, a few hinges cracked but binding is firm. Ink name and address to front endpaper, a little transfer of ink to pastedown opposite. Light browning and a little foxing.

A little wear to cloth at corners. Acetate overlay is present. CD-Rom present in sleeve at rear (NOT TESTED). Light stain affecting edge of last few pages. Contents otherwise are generally clean and bright. Acetate overlay is present. Wrapper is edge creased, with a small tear, and creased across the lower part of the rear panel.
