Forest Record No. 2 of the Forestry Department, British Solomon Islands Protectorate. This book does not aspire to being a complete flora of the forests of the Solomon Islands but provides information that will be valuable to botanists and foresters. Care has been taken with the list and vocabulary of Kwara'ae names. Red cloth baords, gilt title to spine, vignette to front. A few b/w diagrams. Heavy knock to vertical edge of front board exposing board beneath the cloth and also a smaller knock to lower corner. Text block browned. Some foxspots present including a heavy spot to last few page margins. One or two minor margin annotations. Dustwrapper is browned to spine, chipped with loss at edges, heavy damp stain to front panel (worse is to verso).
