SIGNED by illustrator (Skilleter) and Publisher (Wright) to title page. This is Copy No. 16. Original hand drawn illustration to front endpaper has been protected with a loose tissue-guard (slight browning). This copy would make a wonderful gift.

Front joint is a little cracked. Some foxing and grubby marks to pages. Small b/w illustration to title page has been coloured in. Hinge between pages 24/25 is pulled, with stitching being seen at top. Colour illustrations are still nice and bright! Other light foxing and margin marks.

There are no noticeable signs of this - so if it has been full rebacked in the past it has been professionally and very well done indeed! Grubby marks to pictorial onlay. Corners are a little bumped, with wear. Some browning and marks to outer page edges.
