2nd issue of 1st edition. Pink cloth spine. Green lattice to cream cloth covers. Upside Down 'G' to Goose on front cover. Olive green endpapers. 2nd issue of the first edition. Covers are grubby with bumping to spine and corners. Name in ink (partially erased) to front free-endpaper. Hinges are cracked and pulled (showing stitching beneath) but the binding is still generally tight. Some pages are slightly grubby.

Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. One of the plates is loose with ragged edges. Grubby fingermarks to page margins and some foxing to contents.
