This set comprises of the 2 copies of With the Flat and the 2 supplement volumes of After Pretoria; all uniform to each other. Heavy! All spines are faded and browned, with some wear. Differing amounts of damp staining to covers and pages internally. Still a good working set.

Brown leather with small raised bands to spine. Gilt decorations and borders. Scuffing to covers, with some wear to edges; couple of splits to spines. A few ink stamps to prelims. Page browning and some foxing. There are some red ink annotations to two of the maps and a light red stain to map of The Travels of the Apostle Paul. Still a very good set for its age.

Joint between fly-leaf and title-page is cracked causing frontispiece to be missing in this copy. Page edges are ragged from rough opening during binding process.

Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with loss to top and bottom of spine and folds. Couple of small holes to rear panel. Browning to panels and verso.
