Reissued as a single volume. Blue printed cloth with gilt title to spine. B/w plates. Fourth printing. A fine copy in publisher's slipcase which is split at top and tail of open edge on one side.
Dark green cloth with gilt title to spine and gilt bust to front board. 507 pages. Colour & b/w illustrations. Lower edge of text block slightly dusty. Contents fine. Contained in publisher's slipcase in slightly better than very good condition, slight fading at edges and a bumped corner, a few light scuff marks.
Introduction by Rupert Smith. Grey cloth spine and rear board with white title in red title block to spine, pictorial paper front board. B/w photos and a few colour illustrations. A fine copy in an almost fine slipcase, very slightly faded to open edges and light scuffing, minor bump to one corner.
Black cloth with elaborate design to front, gilt title to spine. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Still in original shrinkwrap!
Peach cloth, red bird decoration to front, gilt titles to spine. Green title to front. 23 beautiful colour plates plus b/w line drawings. Spine a little browned, a few grubby marks to rear board. Contained in publisher's slipcase in very good condition - a few light scuff marks, bump at one open edge and minor stain to opposite closed edge of same side.
Dark blue cloth, gilt astrolabe design to front, gilt title to spine. Colour and b/w photos and illustrations. A fine copy in publisher's slipcase in almost fine conditon.
