Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
A taste of the Devonshire countryside, beautifully illustrated by Tunnicliffe's wood engravings. Green cloth, white titles. 110 pages. 9.75 x 7.25". Minimal shelf bumping to spine. Endpapers are foxed and partially browned. Heavy foxing to top edge of textblock, affecting the margins ever so slightly. Dustwrapper is browned and foxed on verso, is slightly grubby and has a small chip at top of spine.

Red cloth, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations. 24 essays of curious facts such as the Australian toad that fills itself with water and then burries itself during the dry season. Fascinating! Spine bumped. Covers discoloured. Foxing to endpapers and some pages. Crease to top corner of front free-endpaper. Yellow dustwrapper is grubby and foxed, browned to spine and worn at top and tail of spine.
