Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few chips and closed tears, browned to spine and grubby to rear panel.

Endpapers lightly browned. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly worn at spine with some foxspots to base of spine and also front panel of wrapper. Dustwrapper is browned on verso.

Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
The author released a small group of canaries on Skokholm Island. Yellow cloth, gilt titles and vignette. Pretty colour plates and b/w illustrations. SIGNED by the author by means of a dedication to half title-page. A few small spots to cover, some fading to top of spine and a small tear in the cloth to base of spine on rear cover. Dustwrapper is chipped and torn with loss and repairs on verso and a bit grubby.
