Slight bumping and rubbing to top of spine else a fine copy in slipcase which is very slightly bumped at corners and lightly rubbed at edges.

Large format. Maroon pictorial cloth. 12 colour and b/w plates. Boards lightly scuffed, spine lightly faded and lightly creased. Front hinge is broken and therefore prelims to page ix are loose/detached. Otherwise binding is tight. Folding frontis is torn in two along fold. Page edge browning and a few scattered foxspots. All plates are present. A working copy only.

Cloth spine faded but title still bold. Browning to contents. Bookplate to front pastedown. Inscription in ink dated 1923 to free front endpaper. Plate facing page 56 is detached. Colouring, and pencil scribbles to some b/w illustrations. Hinges pulled, binding is worn but holding. Musty odour present.

Puzzle pages are clean. A super copy of this scarce annual.

Scarce dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with some tape repairs on verso. Small hole to base of wrapper spine.
