Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Large format. Cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows boy and girl on barrel in the sea. Colour plates and b/w illustrations, all by the same artist, a few very similar to the style of Arthur Rackham. First story is "John, Topsy and the Raven". Corners worn. Spine bumped. Inscription in ink to half-title. Contents lightly browned but clean. A couple of hinges pulled. Dustwrapper is edge-worn and torn with loss (1" loss to lower edge of front panel). A lovely bright copy.

Our feelings sally forth as we follow George the cat and his friend down the long white road; laughter and friendliness are aroused by the very plodding of the tramp, and in 'Sarah and the Artist' there is fantasy light as gossamer. Beige cloth spine with dark blue titles. Blue cloth with dark blue vignettes to front and rear. Colour and delicate b/w drawings by Leigh. 188 pages. Spine lightly foxed. One or two foxspots to contents. Rear endpaper browned. Some hinges pulled. Price-cut dustwrapper edge-worn with slight loss and grubby.
