Red cloth, black titles. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 12 stories. 128 pages Corners bumped. A little fading to some cover edges and top and bottom of spine. A couple of small marks to covers. Some foxing to endpapers, contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with a little loss at top and bottom of spine. Rear panel is very grubby, spine is darkened. Clear cover has been taped to inside of dustwrapper.

Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Gilt to spine has dulled. Name in ink to front endpaper. Joint between fly-leaf and title-page is cracked causing frontispiece to be missing in this copy. Page edges are ragged from rough opening during binding process.

Spine and corners bumped and worn, spine professionally re-backed retaining original cloth. Cover edges lightly rubbed. Covers a bit grubby. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Joints cracked and repaired, Small binders sticker to rear pastedown. There is foxing and grubby fingermarks throughout and there are light damp stains to the plates (mainly evident on verso but some do show stains to front, however, colours are still bright on all plates). A decent copy of a very scarce book.
